Lawns, Society, and Our Environment, February 4

feature-imageThe UT Science Forum resumes Friday, February 4 with John Stier, associate dean of the Herbert College of Agriculture and professor of plant sciences at UT, who will present “Lawns, Society, and Our Environment,” Friday, Feb. 4 at 12 p.m. via Zoom.

In his presentation, he will discuss his research and outreach journey of how lawns impact our environment, for better or worse, and impacts on state and federal rules ranging from GMOs to fertilizer use.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
