Using Microbes to Generate Electricity from Sewage, April 21

Electrochemistry is a widely impactful, but infrequently studied science. In his presentation, Doug Aaron, UT research assistant professor of mechanical, aerospace, and biomedical engineering, will discuss some general electrochemical concepts and their applications to everyday devices like batteries along with more exotic opportunities—like generating electricity from wastewater with the aid of microbes.

Join us Friday, April 21 for “Using Microbes to Generate Electricity from Sewage,” at noon via Zoom.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
