Creating Robots to Help Individuals with Disabilities

September 18: Larry Bohanan, Founder and CEO, Quadriciser Corporation

feature imageLarry Bohanan, founder and CEO of Quadriciser Corporation, will present “Creating Robots to Help Individuals with Disabilities.” Friday, September 18 via Zoom.

For more than 20 years, Bohanan worked at ORNL and the Y-12 National Security Complex helping top scientists and engineers with their patents and inventions. Tragedy struck his family, which led Bohanan to invent a robotic therapy machine that moves all four limbs in a simultaneous motion – the Quadriciser. After discovering the limitless possibilities of robotic therapy, Bohanan left his job at ORNL to pursue helping individuals with major disabilities regain their quality of life. With feedback from doctors and therapists, he continually improves the Quadriciser. During his presentation, Bohanan will share why and how the Quadriciser® Robotic Therapy System can restore hope and a better quality of life to those who have been devastated by brain or bodily injury.

The UT Science Forum takes place via Zoom Friday, Sept. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive a link to join the Zoom presentation.
