James Choo, founder and medical director of Pain Consultants of East Tennessee, will present “Trauma, Pain, and the Brain” Friday, November 6 via Zoom.
The architecture of the brain can be profoundly impacted by traumatic experiences. In his presentation, Choo will outline how trauma affects health, pain, and substance abuse. He will also discuss the science behind resiliency strategies to improve social, individual, and health outcomes in the face of trauma.
