Sam Adams, arborist at the University of Tennessee, will present “From Roots to Shoots: Arboriculture at the University of Tennessee,” Friday, October 16 via Zoom.
After nearly 225 years, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, established its first arboriculture program in 2015. Sam Adams will discuss his first five years in his role as the UT arborist, day-to-day tree-care operations, and the challenges of establishing a future-focused arboriculture program from scratch.
The UT Science Forum takes place via Zoom Friday, Oct. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. Registration is required. Once registered, you will receive a link to join the Zoom presentation.
